Bend Golf and Country Club Dress Code
The dress code is designed to offer our members comfort, while maintaining a standard of decorum for all members, guests and visitors. We recognize that we are much more than a golf course. Our members come to dine, socialize, golf, play tennis and workout. Our dress code is designed to facilitate the needs of all members. The dress code applies to everyone including guests and youngsters/juniors.
Appropriate workout attire is expected. Ragged or torn clothing is not acceptable. Non-marking (white or clear soled) tennis shoes are required for all athletic activities.
Pool Area/Snack Bar
A cover-up or shirt is required over your swimsuit and footwear must be worn when walking outside of the pool area.
Golf Course and Practice Facilities
Men: Shirts must have collars and sleeves,and be tucked in at all times unless banded. Mocks are acceptable. Tailored golf shorts are acceptable with mid-thigh length or longer; no tennis length or short shorts. Neat denim and sweatshirts/sweaters that are in good taste are acceptable. T-shirts and athletic wear are not acceptable.
Soft spikes are required and may be worn in the clubhouse and on the outside deck.
Women: Sleeveless shirts must have a collar: halter/tank tops are not permitted. Tailored golf shorts/skirts are acceptable with mid-thigh length or longer; no tennis length or short shorts. Neat denim and sweatshirts/sweaters that are in good taste are acceptable. T-shirts and athletic wear are not acceptable. Golf wear as prescribed above or tailored warm-ups or branded athletic wear are permitted in the clubhouse areas.
- Ragged T-shirts
- Clothing with heavy perspiration
- Sweatshirts (neat and clean) are permitted, provided they are not sporting logos or slogans which are profane, suggestive or in poor taste
Headwear is permitted in the Cascade dining room only during golf functions. Clean and neat denim pants (no baggy pants) are permitted.
The same rules apply to all children/juniors. Exceptions can be made for infants and small children as deemed appropriate by the Club Staff.
Members are responsible for acquainting their guests, including children, with these dress rules and appropriate attire is available in the Golf Shop.
The General Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager or their designees, the Golf Professional and Golf Marshals are responsible for and have the authority for the enforcement of all rules and regulations pertaining to the dress code.
**Any changes to the Dress Code will be published in the BGC Members site, the main website, and around the clubhouse, as notification to the membership.
