Chef: June 2021

As you read this, the price of your standard toilet paper or ground beef has probably already gone up in price since the last time you purchased it. As a chef, it has been difficult to say the least when it comes to keeping up with the inflation and also just to keep the same products on hand. I have reopened more avenues for purchasing than I normally would, but I do not like to run out of product. Sometimes there are circumstances out of my control.

As for the restaurant business at the club, it has been great! Banquets have ramped up a bit along with golf events. It is awesome to see the participation with our membership. Until recently in my 30-plus years in private golf clubs, I have never seen the restaurant so busy.
