GM: May 2021

I’m not sure I’ve seen the course look this good this early. Scott, as always has done a tremendous job preparing it. While we are in good shape in every facet, one of the issues we have had is back orders from COVID impacts to manufacturing.

We are behind on some of the course attributes we have ordered. We will get them, but not as fast as we would like. Secondly, our cart path repair project will not be completed until late June. Its frustrating, but the building in our areas has been unprecedented and we fall in a long list.

For all members, the ups and downs of COVID and restrictions has been frustrating to say the least. We hope with the vaccinations all of this will ease and become a past memory.

However, we have had our first OSHA phone call and while it is trying, we need everyone masked up while they are inside.

We have several projects that are in the works:

  • Decking outside of Mulligans – pending material and contractors
  • Pool opening on the north end – pending contractors.
  • Cart path repairs – late June
  • Front step repairs – mid July
  • New parking – awaiting burn finish from Arrowood.
  • Bathroom updates this fall.
  • Gates for the garbage area will be completed in the next few weeks.

We have experienced an uptick in two unwanted areas: one is cigarette and cigar butts, and the second is ball mark repairs. We all need to feel a sense of pride and ownership in our club. Please always look around and be aware of anything that should/could be picked up or repaired on the greens or fairways.

We are all in this together and we will get through this, but especially after this last announcement from our governor, make sure when you arrive, deep breath and let’s be good to each other. It’s been a long ride and hopefully we are almost through it.

Summer and good weather is here. If there is anything my team can do, please don’t hesitate to call or email
