We should have some light at the end of the tunnel this month. In the meantime, my teams will be working hard to prepare the facility for a return to normalcy. There will continue to be rules that we have to work through. We have been sending a lot of information out to try to keep everyone current, so please make sure you read through the information. Everything is changing quickly, and we are trying to continue to improve your experience.
Our tee times system has been a hot topic. The system hasn’t changed, nor is it broken. We just have enormous demand. Normally, we have so many other options available to members but golf is one of the only things we can do right now, and everyone wants to do it. We are continuing to open earlier and stay open later as we get more hours of daylight. We hope to return to Mens Day and Ladies Day once we get the go-ahead by the State.
This next week, we’ll get back to “regular” golf, as we have a new sleeve with a cup that will fit our flags. Using your putter, lift up on the hook and the ball will fall out. We have a demo on the first hole. We’re finally back to playing real golf!
Scott will bring in turf for the east side of the range this month and we’ll be able to expand the range to the east. We have needed a larger range for a long time and we’re finally about to have it. Over the next week, Arrowood will remove the old cart barns, then create a berm that will go across the property.
We appreciate your continued support of takeout and the restaurant. Darrin will continue to run takeout specials and add new items. The Mulligans window is now open everyday and has been quite successful.
I’d like to take a moment to thank my team. Everyone is wearing hats they don’t normally wear and are working (in many cases) six days a week. The effort has been great and I can’t tell you how proud I am of our team.
