The golf shop staff is working hard to ensure we remain compliant with the COVID mandate of social distancing, disinfecting, and cleaning. Our hours are reduced in order to remain open to play and to ensure our compliance. At this time, no outside play or guests are allowed on premises. Please understand that this is a safety issue and we are enforcing restrictions.
Luckily, we have been allowed to remain open for play, but must be clear on our guidelines for compliance, which requires us to keep a 6 foot distance between others. Hours have been changed and standard operations adjusted so we can monitor and perform in accordance to these guidelines.
Range hours will remain from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. weather permitting, at which time we take all equipment back inside and close the range.
Carts will be available to individuals with medical needs. Tee times and tee sheets are open between course operation hours of 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tee times need names in the spots of players, as no name indicates an open time that any member can fill. With our condensed hours, please be courteous to your fellow members by filling names into tee times.
We have marked areas near tees and greens to remind members of this distance and the reality of the physical representation of 6 feet.
None of us know what our season holds in this circumstance and the staff of Bend Golf Club is doing everything to keep as much business going as possible. Please know that any restrictions are to stay open, not to keep members from having fun.
If you have checked your email recently, you will see that we have introduced clinics and programs to help with cabin fever and maintain some normalcy while dealing with this pandemic. Hopefully our email communications are being read!
Special orders for golf balls can be emailed to email@example.com, and although it seems far away, we have merchandise coming in this month. Since the building is off limits until we hear further from the governor’s office, we are working on creating an ordering portal for some of our Under Armor products online and working with other vendors to create the same.
Hopefully the end of April brings us better news for our community. In the meantime, stay healthy and safe!
