F&B: March 2020

First Wednesday Jazz Night is in full swing. Make your reservations every month. April will feature the Tritones.

The Tritones are a group of high school musicians, performing around Central Oregon. Originally a jazz trio with pianist Jude Dow-Hygelund of Eugene, the Tritones have expanded to include guitar and saxophone in addition to drums and bass. They play a variety of musical genres, with a focus on jazz standards and jazz fusion.

Stevie Fawcett | Drums
Stevie attends Redmond Proficiency Academy. A University of Oregon Jazz Camp award winner, Stevie has been studying drums since age 4, with a focus on jazz, and models his playing after Eric Harland and Robert Seawright. He is a student of Grammy-nominated jazz drummer Todd Strait.

Simon Rhett | Saxophone
Simon is a junior at Sisters High School, where he plays alto saxophone with the Jazz Band. He has been accepted into WIBC, an honor band in Seattle, and continues to play around Central Oregon. Some of his influences are Joe Henderson and Lee Morgan. He studies under local musician and composer Andy Warr, as well as Tylor Cranor, another local musician.

Brandon Roberts | Guitar
Brandon also attends Redmond Proficiency Academy, where he plays in the funk and rock bands. He is a singer songwriter, and has been playing the bass and guitar for 4 years. He has been accepted to Knox College on a large music scholarship as well. One of his biggest influences is Kenny Burell.

Whitney Walden | Bass
Whitney is a senior at Summit High School, and is a student of bassist John Allen. She has won the Fortissimo Award through the Cascade School of Music, and has performed at All-State. She has played the bass for 6 years and her biggest influences include Joe Dart and Jaco Pasorius.

Definitely not too early for Easter Brunch reservations. The Easter Bunny will be out on the driving range at noon for the hunt. Brunch reservations on April 12 from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m,. $37 adults, $16 for children 5-11 years old.

Bingo night is Saturday, March 14. Pasta Buffet will be ready at 5:30 with meatballs, sautéed chicken, Alfredo sauce, Bolognese sauce, garlic bread, salad, and a sweet treat. $17 adults, $12 children for the buffet.

Wine tasting is on the 4th Saturday of each month. This month’s falls on March 28 from 4-6 p.m. Let us know if you are staying for dinner and your table will be ready for you. Reservations can be made online or by calling 541-322-5776.
