As we wrap up another successful season and complete winter preparations, there is not a more fitting time to thank you, the members, for your support throughout the year. Being recognized by the Oregon Golf Association as Superintendent of the Year is truly an honor and was made even more special by many of you that greeted me at the 18thgreen during a round of golf in early October. What a surprise to have my wife, daughters and parents there as well to make it a memorable day. I have been fortunate to work with many great teams throughout my career that have helped me become a better superintendent. Thank you to everyone.
The off season is a great time to reflect on what worked and what can be improved upon. As we move forward and start projects and preparations for next season, our goal is to have a better season than the last and continue to make improvements to this great golf course!
Our beautiful fall can’t last forever so get out and enjoy it. We will transition to winter tees and greens when the ground freezes and change cart policies. Please remember to check the frost line
at 541-385-1973 or call the golf shop for daily conditions and course availability.
The maintenance staff appreciates your support and will see you on the course and around the club during the winter months.
